Prof. Dr. med. Matthias Lange

Prof Dr Matthias Lange is senior staff member at the Department of Anesthesiology, Intensive Care and Pain Medicine since 2010. He studied medicine at the Hannover Medical School, Germany, and graduated in 2004.

Dr Lange completed his clinical training at the University Hospital of Muenster, Germany, and obtained special qualifications in emergency medicine and intensive care medicine and a certification in perioperative transesophageal echocardiography.

From 2006 to 2008 Dr. Lange worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Texas, USA. In 2009, he passed his postdoctoral Habilitation degree at the University of Muenster and received the venia legendi for Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine.
